To determine the best contact lens for you we need to conduct a special contact lens evaluation consultation. Then with the right lenses chosen, adequate instruction for the care and maintenance of the lenses needs to be given. Contact lens fitting, for first time wearers, takes about an hour of consultation time. After the lenses are supplied one or two scheduled follow up (aftercare) visits ensure your satisfaction. Depending on the type of lenses prescribed, “all up” contact lens fitting fees range from $100 - $200 plus contact lens product costs.

At EyecarePlus – Wynyard we have access to most brands of contact lenses. These are available to you either over the counter at our city store or via mail. As contact lenses are classified as therapeutic aids in Australia we can supply only on sighting or having on file a current contact lens prescription.
