Previously, it has been difficult for optical laboratories to manufacture a spectacle lens suitable for sportspeople requiring corrective lenses with wider peripheral vision such as wrap frames. Now using compensated lens design technology to customise back surface optics we can personalise your lenses to give a larger, clearer vision field.

EyecarePlus – Wynyard are leaders in sports corrective eyewear & prescription sports eyewear for many applications but particularly cyclists, golfers, runners and sailing. If your prescription sports eyewear has a combined power between +4 Diopters to -6 Diopters this lens design may be suitable for you. We can even do these lenses in multifocal for those with reading requirements. Tinted, photochromatic or polarised options for sports corrective eyewear are also available and we are happy to outline the benefits of each. There is even a special Golf lens that changes with prevailing light levels and the polarised version for sailors is suitable for viewing GPS not so possible with regular polarised lenses.

Rudy is without doubt the best outdoor sports corrective eyewear of our time with full self adjustable arms and nose pieces on most models.
